The Ed.S. degree in school psychology from the University of Kansas is specialized to help you obtain the knowledge to be active and effective in enhancing the lives of the students in your community while putting you on a path toward certification as a school psychologist. A combination of two years of full-time graduate study followed by a nine-month paid internship – all totaling 63 credit hours – meets the professional recommendations and requirements for several licensure organizations, including the National Association of School Psychologists and the Kansas State Department of Education.
