Validity Screening Solutions

To be assigned a field placement site, you are required to complete a background check through Validity.


Steps to Complete the Background Check

  1. Access the Secure Link
    Click the secure link and begin to get started!
  2. Enter Email Address
  3. Create an Account
    • Enter First Name
    • Enter Last Name
    • Enter Email Address
    • Click Register
  4. Email Verification
    • Check your email for an authentication message.
    • Follow the link to set your password and begin your application.
  5. Enter the Basics
    • Name, Address, Phone Number
  6. Continue with Application
    • Click Start
    • Complete all required fields moving through the application with the Next button at the bottom of each page
    • Click End Session after reaching a page that says – Thank you for your submission! 

If at any point you need to stop, you may utilize the last link sent to your email and regain access to your current application. If the link has expired, choose th4e option to email yourself a new link.

DO NOT Proceed if you have already submitted a profile for either background screening and/or drug test and are needing your results.

Any payments made to Validity Screening Solutions through this portal are NON-REFUNDABLE. 

This will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.  Press Next to continue. 

  1. Complete the Review
    • Fill out each section of the profile.
    • Review for completeness and click NEXT.
  2. Consent and Authorization
    • Read the “Notice”, check the confirmation box, and click NEXT.
    • Read the “Summary of Rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act”, check the box, and click NEXT.
    • Complete the Disclosure section, sign electronically, check the box, and then click NEXT.
    • Fill out the Acknowledgement and Authorization section, sign electronically, check the box, and click NEXT.
  3. Personally Identifiable Information
    • Date of Birth
    • Date of Birth Confirmation
    • Social Security Number
    • Confirm Social Security Number
  4. Payment
    • Enter your payment information 35.00 + $2.00 administrative fee.
    • Enter your billing address
    • Click Authorize Payment
    • A receipt will be emailed to you upon submission.
  5. Submit Your Application
    • Click SUBMIT to finalize your application.
    • Results will be released to your institution after successful submission and payment.
  6. After Submission
    • Results will be sent to the University of Kansas.
    • Instructions will be sent via email on how to access your completed report through your profile page.
