Center for Psychoeducational Services renamed OASIS
The Center for Psychoeducational Services, the psychology training clinic housed in the School of Education and Human Sciences, has been renamed the Outcomes, Assessment Services, and Intervention Supports (OASIS). The clinic was renamed in an effort to rebrand and promote its focus on psychological assessment, intervention, and research services within the campus and greater community.
OASIS is a training clinic staffed by Counseling and School Psychology students, under the direction of Dr. Erin Yosai, associate professor of practice in the School Psychology program, part of the Department of Educational Psychology. With a focus on academic and mental health, OASIS offers equitable clinical assessment and intervention services on a sliding-fee scale to children, adolescents, KU students, and families in the local community. Clients come to OASIS with concerns related include specific learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, school-related problems, mental health supports, and executive functioning concerns. Individuals interested in learning more about OASIS and their services can visit the clinic, located in Joseph R. Pearson Hall, Room 130 on KU’s Lawrence campus, or email kuoasis@ku.edu.
