Kate Kelley

Kate is a junior from Austin, Texas, studying secondary English education with a minor in business. KU was the only university she applied to — a true testament to her Jayhawk spirit! As a student ambassador, Kate loves sharing her passion for KU traditions and the supportive community within the School of Education and Human Sciences. Her favorite KU tradition is tossing newspapers at Allen Fieldhouse before basketball games. Kate is proud to be following in both of her parents’ footsteps, as her dad graduated from KU in 1982, and her mom taught English.
